O22 Lionel Switch

Lionel 1022 Switch and Controller featuring the 432 RP & 432GP bulbs (in the controller) & either the 1447 or 1445 clear bulbs (in the switch).

ZW Transformer Lionel

The "Big Daddy"  Here's a beautiful ZW transformer.  The ZW uses (2) #51 bulbs under those red & green lenses.  Some people like to use a #1445 18 volt instead to reduce the potential for melting the lens covers.  Since the bulb is only powered with ~7 volts, the 18 volt bulbs will not heat up as much, nor light as brightly.

#450 Lionel Highway Signal

Here's a #450 highway signal.  The highway signals use the 53RP (Red) and 53GP (Green)  bulbs.  Most crossing & banjo  signals with bayonet receptacles use the Red 53RP.

  Lionel 9234 Atomic Disposal Car

Here's a #9234 Atomic Energy Disposal Car.  The 9234 & 6805 Atomic Energy Disposal Cars both use (2ea.) #402 flasher bulbs.  These bulbs flash on their own at about 80 cycles per minute while power is applied.

Lionel Aquarium Car

Got a new aquarium car?  The cars use the  #57 bayonet base bulbs for lighting.
